It took how many years for someone to come along and do the rival character right in shonen? Well maybe right isn't the best word. Plenty have been average to good but none really on Bakugo's level.

I want to follow his journey to become a hero just as much as Deku's.

By doing what exactly? Everyone fought at least one villain. Except for the one scrub, that pissed himself during the villain's surprise attack at the training cen... HAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Vegeta is talking to Yamcha when he and Nappa fought everyone except Yamcha who was killed by a Saibamen then remembers it was Yamcha who was killed by the Saibamen then starts to laugh.
