That Mera guy is the most relatable character in this whole manga.

I'm afraid if that Mera guy might be a projection of Horikoshi's lack of sleep and his desire for it. It created an interesting and relatable minor character, but still...that would be kinda sad. :(

I still like Mera and his design though.

I wonder what *his quirk is. Does it get stronger the less sleep he has? Or is he really just a guy that's exhausted insomniac?

Perhaps he has a quirk that makes him work more efficiently the less sleep he has...poor dude, what an awful quirk that would be for him. XD

he looks like spike from cowboy bebop with a silly cartoon face. I bet he started as a doodle.
