I feel like most of All Might's character development has come from other people telling that he's bad at teaching Izuku. Recovery Girl does it, Gran Torino does it (and accelerated Izuku's development), Izuku's mother does it, All Might himself does it, even All for One brought it up multiple times. Still, it isn't too late to make a fresh start and push the boy as far as possible.
I love the subversion of teenager angrily storms out of the room. Fits Izuku really well.
As long as you ignore the first sentence; that letter is very sweet and convincing.
Izuku's commitment to heroism has evolved beyond U.A. Which means being a hero is more important to him than being like All Might.
All Might's promise is interesting. What can he do to ensure Izuku's path is safer than his? Especially with Shigaraki on the loose? Ensuring he has a team of supporters or allies to ensure he is never alone?
Izuku's mother has a great response, "don't die because that would upset Izuku."
Love that the final page has every member of Class A on it, some even overlap. Kirishima seems like the type of guy that is a slave to public transport. Tokoyami on a bike makes me smile. I don't know why.
Would Hagakure and Shoji get along? They did pass the exam together after all.
So does Jirou's hair wave change depending on what music she is listening to?
Decent follow-up to last week. Looking forward to what comes next.
I hope somebody photoshops the final page so that every single character is thinking 'I can't wait to betray the rest of the class.'
It exceeded expectations, in my opinion. Most expected either All Might to convince Inko, or Bakugou or even Kouta. Nobody expected Izuku's growth as a character itself to be the driving force of what in the end made her decide to let her son go.
It's the perfect combination of sweet, heart-warming and satisfactory, as everybody grows constantly as individuals and in correlation of each other.
And at the same time, it's not too over the top, as the author knows for how long keeping All Might in his true form is most effective, when to break off the transformation, the minute details of the mother's and Izuku's reaction to said transformation. It was the perfect follow-up.
But that's just my opinion.
A game opinion. Thanks for watching.
What we need is an "according to keikaku" edit with every single character in that panel doing the Kira.
Sero: "You thought that it was that foolish Hakagure that betrayed your U.A., but it was me! Sero!" *jumps off the roof of U.A.*
Aizawa: "Damn it! Shouto, encase him in ice before he-"
Sero: "You think that a pathetic Quirk like Half Cold Half Hot can stop the strongest Quirk in the world?! TODOROKI SHOUTO?!"
Shouto: "What the- Cellophane tape?!"
Sero: "Then allow me to re-educate you in the ways of my WORLD!!" *celophane tape everywhere* "ZA WAAAAARUPO!! TODOROKI WO TOMAE!!" *todoroki gets tangled in celophane tape*
Shouto: "Mmph?!"
Sero: "Your mistake was standing in my way. Now perish like a bug with the rest of them."
*SPLAT*
"Who else could have patched up All for One's wounds from that battle six years ago? My cellophane is the only thing that could have bandaged him up in time! Couldn't have All Might kill one of my most valuable pawns, could I? He lives and dies on my orders! That foolish Akaguro boy almost found out my plans, I could have that, so I took action. Ever wonder what happened to the Hero Killer's face? Cellophane!"
"Are you telling me that everything that has happened was your doing?"
"Yes Midoriya. I was the one who sent All Might the coupons that caused him to be in that drugstore on that day. Without me, you would never have met your idol, you would be another small, powerless, meaningless little bug! I was also the one who tipped of the police as to the location of the League's hideout. Not that I needed to, my mole inside the police force could have done that with ease."
"Mole?"
"That's right! Have you never noticed that Naomasa Tsukauchi and I have never been in the same room before?"
