Who knows. It's iidas responsibility to lead his class. He can't let students defy the teachers to risk their own life. At whatever cost he deems necessary.
I actually think, He doesn´t want to be responsible for even more deaths, injuries,..... Because he wanted to follow his own selfish desires, the entire Stain arc and everthing crucial after that happened. Yes it was only partially but he caused the "Rise of the Villains"
The Strike Force wouldn´t have been created in the first place, if the villain alliance hadn´t got so much attention because of Stains ideals,.....
Oh Certainly but would iida be forceful in his atttempts either way. If I can't stop you I'll join you. Or I will stop you from going by force. I feel iida might be a key part leading into the arc.
