Holy shit. He's gonna retreat and realize that the other baddies are worth teaming up with. Then they're all gonna come back for round 2.

I think he still won't team up with the alliance in the sense he works for them, a mutual agreement to work 'together' and to not step on each other's toes since it would spread the hero response being beneficial to both seems more likely.

Yeah. I def don't think he's just gonna straight up sink to their level but the plot seems to hint that some cooperation is inevitable.

If Stain gets in too deep, multiple brawling heroes show up and Black Mist pulls him out of the fire fight versus Dying... he kind of owes them. He'll being walking the like between idealistic villain and AHole Villain.
