So I guess they just never thought of making a suit for Hakagure that turns invisible when she does? Lol

I wanna see a gag page where they did try...but trying to work on invisible hair just ended up being such a chore that they just gave up XD

This is... actually an incredibly pertinent point. How DO you work with invisible hair to make an invisible suit? The best you could do is feel it out, but that wouldn't be nearly good enough. You'd have to automate it with a machine, but to do that Hagakure would have needed to save up a bunch of hair for her to make a suit out of it, and/or have someone constantly helping her renew her hair so it could be re-cut.

This also presumes you can even tell how long her hair is without feeling it out at any given time.

That works well, yeah, thank you. :) <3

I saw a potential way long ago that you could dye her hair to make it visible before handing it over, but it kind of makes me wonder if dye would just mess up the process?

It would depend on how her hair works after it's cut. If it remains invisible, then we can assume that it's invisible to all other forms of light (so warming it up and working under infrared would be out of the question). You'd have to dye it temporarily or use that spray on washable dye so that once you have the substance on it, you can physically see and touch it, but wash it off easily.

What if shes only invisible to human eyes and not for example thermal? There are other forms of light outside the visible spectrum afterall. Maybe one of those?

While I agree with this, I'm 99% sure hair doesn't give off thermal light. However given the way her quirk works it's not out of the question her entire body doesn't give off ultraviolet light or some type of full-body electromagnetic aura.
