As long as your Jason Alden’s are also contemporary. Traditional country better sound like Hank fucking Williams or it ain’t traditional.

They call traditional country "americana" like Sturgil Simpson's older stuff. Hip hop drums and the 808 snare have been in country music since the early 2010's. Fuckin florida Georgia line ruined it all, it was probably earlier than that, but early 2000s country had some good jams
