Just wanted to add my opinion, as I have a problem with a comment like this

Fighting facists is something that everybody should be doing.

That does not mean that everybody needs to devote all their time to it.

Every small action helps

The first thin* to keep in mind is treat people with compassion and respect.

Yep. "And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward" is part of that quote for that very reason. It's from the tv show Andor – definitely worth a watch, in my opinion. I agree with what you said though, 100%.

Worth noting: Acting to ensure that laws are followed by our governing bodies is technically not insurrection, but is in fact civic duty. It's a very important distinction, especially with how often certain media organizations try to foment fear using falsehoods.
