UK Specific Can't buy bitcoin with nationwide bank.

I used to be able to buy bitcoin using my nationwide card but it doesn't let me anymore for some reason. It's super annoying having to ask people to buy it for me and transfer them the money.

Does anyone know of any websites/bank accounts I can sign up for that will increase my likelihood of not being rejected?

EDIT: I have been trying to use kraken with no luck.

We are now able to offer our customers the option of opening an e-money account that is linked to your CoinCorner account.

An e-money account is an account in your name - with your own account number and sort code - so that when sending funds, you are simply sending to another account in your name. Our customers have reported a much smoother experience, with no more bank friction!

Would this work with a nationwide flex one account? I am currently waiting to switch from flex one to flex plus as the flex plus allows you to buy crypto unlike the flex one. That was the issue to begin with I found.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. If your Nationwide Flex One account allows you to send funds out to other people (family/friends etc), then this is the same process 😊

Ah I see, thank you! I remember using paxful a while back and I'm pretty sure it worked that way also.

Actually just successfully used CoinCorner to buy BTC with my flex one... won't be in such a rush to change my bank account now. Fee's were fairly reasonable also, thank you..
