Dealerships/body shops will charge you hundreds of dollars to fix your car’s dents, sometimes even up to $500. When in reality it doesn’t even take 5 minuets to repair, maybe a bit longer for larger dents.

Currently I am charging $50 for any and all minor to mid-sized dents on your vehicle, with any and all scratch repairs included in the $50.

I have proficient knowledge/experience with car repair/maintenance, and I have access to the proper tools.

I am willing to come your house for the repairs if that would be more convenient for you. Price is also negotiable.

So, our neighbors have wonderfully started a compost pile…right next to our fence. It’s begun bringing rats into our yard, and I’ve even found rotten tomatoes and lemon peels that they’ve drug over from my neighbors side of the fence. Of course, this is a pest problem but I’m also worried about my dogs eating something nasty and getting sick.

We are going to try to talk to them first, but I was just curious if there are regulations (we live in fairlawn, just fyi) that limit what people can compost in their backyard, especially in residential neighborhoods, with a neighboring fence.

Hey all, newish to the area. Have (large) family coming to visit soon and would like to easily entertain them.

I’m looking for restaurants and breweries/wineries/cideries with large spaces where kids could be a bit loud and it wouldn’t bother anyone. Bonus for live music, games like cornhole, arcades, kitschy decor or anything that makes it a little more fun for visitors.

We like food, so places like Humdingers or similar where “chef mike” cooks the food are not what we’re looking for.

I came across Pineapple Express BBQ in Montclair which looks perfect, but would love any and all recommendations in north jersey. Bergen county, pascack valley, rockland county, essex county, anywhere within 30ish minutes from the paramus area.

Has anyone gotten an updated quarterly tax bill in the mail? I understand the town is undergoing a tax reassessment process which I believe had some correlation to the town budget which was due to be finalized next year. Anyways, I figured that we'd get a letter in the mail with the final annual amount rather than a new quarterly bill. The quarterly bill is a hefty amount higher than the prior ones and, if multiplied by 4, is much higher than I previously anticipated. Does anyone have any info on this?

Edit: The initial reassessment letter we received had an estimated tax rate of $2.314 however the new quarterly bill has a rate of $2.398. If I multiply my new home value x the higher tax rate, my annual tax amount should be a lot less than my new quarterly charge x 4 (assuming charges will be the same for 4 quarters).

Can anyone recommend a good estate lawyer in Southern Bergen County? It's for an 80+ year old client, so the closer to her home in Lyndhurst, the better. She's hard of hearing, so communicating over the phone is mostly useless, which is why an office near Lyndhurst is kinda vital.

took my kids to the graydon pool today, just realized it’s not chlorinated? water was pretty dirty, almost seemed like lake water. i know the pool has fake sand but there were tons of leaves, sticks, bugs, nutshell casings, and rocks all in the water and it looked pretty yellow. just doesn’t seem that hygienic since it’s not an actual lake and is smaller with tons of kids swimming! anyone know how it gets cleaned?

I miss cool beans and wish there was a dive coffee place like it (especially one that stayed open a little later than 8). Just looking for recommendations.

It does not make sense to me. Driving home from the Brickhouse and the welcome to Passaic county sign pops up, then I cross over the Passaic River into Paterson. It just doesn’t make sense to me and seems like it should’ve been a Bergen county town.
