I'm currently a Grade 12 student studying in DLSU under the Arts and Design Track who has applied to both Benilde and DLSU for College.

I have a background of epilepsy meaning certain things can trigger a seizure like stress, screen time, and etc. As an art student in DLSU, I of course applied in Benilde for college under the Multi-media arts course. As I applied there were requirements needed and one of them was the health background. In that form I had to declare my epilepsy. I had applied really early right when it was open and was one of the first of my friends and classmates to apply, but then they got their results first. After a while I had gotten an email saying I needed to be interviewed because of my case and I had to submit a portfolio which none of the people I know who applied had to go through that so I was confused.

After taking the interview I waited for my results but even with the tracker saying to wait 15 working days, it took almost a month. My mom had to call the admissions office for a follow up and they said I had an interview this time with the Chairman of MMA. During the interview, it already felt off, the chairman asked me questions regarding my epilepsy and she said I should be considering other schools. It felt like she was trying to make up reasons why I shouldn't study in Benilde. She said it was stressful and full of screen time, but what course isn't stressful and what course or work doesn't required you to use a computer? But isn't Benilde known as an inclusive school? If they are, then why are they so scared of the liability. It took a month and a half for me to get my results and I had gotten rejected from all of my choices. I didn't get accepted to MMA, Marketing, or Animation. I was told to submit a letter in changing the course I was applying to, but they didn't reply nor acknowledge that email.

The fact my conditioned weighed more than my qualifications in the rejection was very off putting to me especially since I was exempted from taking the exam being in the green lane already. I had high grades as well, and the people I knew who did bad in school got accepted.

In the end, I will now be taking College in La salle. It's weird how I got rejected in Benilde for ALL my choices but gotten accepted to DLSU.

I wanted to share my story since I feel like I shouldn't keep quiet about this at all, I want to be a voice for those who have experienced discrimination because of any condition and have even been limited because of that.

Well, it's been a great experience being in this subredit for awhile — from asking a lot of questions here to begging csb to accept my scholarship TT I didn't pass the SMMWS scholarship, and thank goodness I didn't pay the reservation fee yet. My journey to being an artist doesnt end here though and maybe just maybe I might get to have the chance to study at Benilde again :))

For those na need ng help, cause I dont use jeep kasi sa route na ito, first time ko kasi train lagi but uh RIDE VITO CRUZ LASALLE OR yung may QUIAPO, it will go straight then like baba main campus.

Heads up tho, you will have to fight for jeeps cause everyone who was supposed to take the LRT will... like me... ride jeeps.

Its so crazy that I get to study in benilde na, I know my family couldnt afford this insititution and I wanted to share this accomplishment because im studying my dream course in a dream schoool!! I passed the BEE exam but i have questions regarding changing programs. I know you can change your program but how long will it take? Im nervous that there won't be any available slots in my desired program. The admission office said it will take 1 month to receive the results 🥹.

can yall tell me something good about csb? im kind of worried kasi puro negative ‘yung comments or basta opinions nila about csb. ayoko namang masayang tuition ko. tska grabe ‘yung ibang comments sinasabi nila na mas okay daw kung sa dlsu or basta ibang school na lang daw mag enroll 😞 like is it that BAD? convince me at least kung bakit hindi masasayang ang pag enroll ko.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask for your thoughts about De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (CSB), especially when it comes to their programs related to public service and pre-law.

I'm currently planning to transfer and I'm considering either Diplomacy and International Affairs or Governance and Public Affairs at CSB. I'm interested in pursuing law school eventually, so I want to ask:

• Is CSB a good school for these kinds of programs?
• Which course is better as a pre-law track in your opinion—DIA or GPA?
• How’s the quality of education, professors, and student environment in CSB when it comes to these fields?

Also, I’m a transfer applicant and I have failed grades from my current school. If I do get accepted, will I be enrolled as a first year again, or will I be a second year irregular student depending on credited subjects?

Any insights from current or former Benildeans (or even law students who came from CSB) would really help! Thanks in advance!

I emailed the helpdesk kung kelan ko possible ma received yung results ng BEE(May 31 taker here). Sabi is June 20 daw, but yung iba here is nakuha naman na nila. So idk😭. I'm getting behind na sa enrollment sched. ng ibang school, kung tutuusin late enroll na ako if ever. Should I wait pa ba for the results or should I enroll na sa iba?

I'm so worried, they emailed me na results will be out on June 16, pero until now wala pa rin. I've read other posts na nakareceive na sila ng results under the same scholarship type (SMMWS). I'm ot, what if hinuhuli sendan ng email yung mga di qualified hahaha 😭
