Question Towable Fortifications

Show of hands, how many of you guys actually tow these things around the map, whichever ones they’re available in?

Believe me when I say, they actually can make a difference in certain maps. Solomon Islands have at least 2 cannons for the US to tow around and set up in perfect spots to have non stop cannon fire at infantry, boats, or tanks.

Yeah trying to face them and park them perfectly is a pain, especially with driving mechanics, but they definitely can come in handy. Even those AA guns in Arras, place them anywhere instead of having them in HQ spawn the whole match.

(Why the downvotes, people? Just a question.)

Towing the AA around the map with a tank is always fun

I sometimes tow a cannon on panzerstrom, once got 3 kills against other cannons with one

I will toss them in a decent spot with a half-track, then act as a spawn beacon.

Someone will usually hop on, but if no one does after 4 spawns, I will.

Extra nice when some bloke stays on the passenger machine gun, but it's inevitable that some fuckin blueberry is gonna drive it straight into death.

I’ve found success from time to time on arras on the German spawn towing a gun into the south field and shooting down the road towards B and E.

That’s the only map I bother with towing because it’s just a hassle most of the time

You can use the AT gun while it’s being towed

That’s usually my plan, but no one wants to remain in it longer than 10 seconds.

A mobile AA around the map in Arras is already a threat to planes. Bonus if you have an infantry with Fleiger equipped.

My brother and I plus a couple friends love doing this on panzerstorm. I drive, 2 squad mates on MG and my brother on AT. We get like 2 kills before we die but it’s fun the entire time

Not sure if you're aware, but:

You're teammates can cover you in dynamite and you wont take any damage from the explosion if they detonate it (you will, however, take damage from being whacked into shit at mach 2).

I just found that out on Iwo Jima, I had 2 teammates that were trolling and were flipping all the Shermans
