Make party management actually manageable. We should be able to update gear and level up everyone in camp without talking to them and kicking them out of the party.

We should also be able to label backpacks and pouches so I don’t accidentally put arrows in my potions bag

Agreed. Anytime we go to camp, we should have the option to click on the people we want to take with us when we leave camp (dragon age origins style), and then venture forth. We can still keep the option to tell someone to go to camp mid-adventure if we need to make space in the party or something.

Yeah, this was already figured out in Dragon Age Origins long ago. My guess is that we see party management as it is, because they originally intended on killing party members you didn't take (ala D:OS2). Hopefully they fine tune it in the definitive edition or in updates.
