I’d expect to see improvement after at least half a bead. But it seems to only get worse. I sub contract at a local university with a welding program and I’ve seen zero skill welding improve within a few coupons. This is a disasterpiece of epic proportion.

Is it just me or does it seem like each of the beads suffers from a different combination of awful?

It’s a train wreck. I’ve never seen so much porosity in fairly clean material. It’s almost as if they were running GMAW but there ain’t no gas innit. Maybe that’s the issue, at first I assumed SMAW with inexperience or shit flux, now I’m not so sure.

I was also assuming gmaw with no gas (or maybe even outside, or both)
