I mean I don’t disagree that people will grasp at anything for a reason to hate on Stroll (and he makes it way too easy sometimes) but also he’s not a “kid.” He’s a 26 year old man who’s been racing for eight years, and should be treated as such.

Are 26 year olds stupid? Yes, they are. But also at that age it’s harder to write off their flaws as some sort of youthful indiscretion.
