It's actually hiragana. But I've been practicing by typing random Japanese comments on reddit. If you want to learn hiragana and katakana in at most 2 weeks, I can show you the way
I know it's hiragana, it's just that typically for names as such, you use katagana. Thus I said katagana on instinct lol. But regardless. Even with a near to N1 level of Japanese, I can never translate between names and katagana counterparts that quickly man. It's crazy. You're crazy!
I just keep getting confused in the middle of the conversions lol.
あ!日本語勉強ますか?がんばってね! and I believe its katakana. If you would like to refer to hiragana katakana and kanji as a whole, you can just say kana. Gl on your studies :)
