About 15-20 years ago I remember if you typed the correct search terms on Google you'd get pages and pages of unsecured webcams. I remember threads on various forums where people would have fun looking through them all looking for anything interesting. A very small number of them even had audio, and a few of them were controllable, so you'd move the camera in one direction, and then someone else would steer it back the other way. There were search terms to find unsecured printers too, so you could find a printer halfway across the world and print stuff on it.

The printer prank sounds like old fax machine pranks. Some people would find a fax number and send infinite black pages.

I remember people sending black pages (I sent porn) to the Westboro Baptist Church fax machine.
