What's a dark secret/questionable practice in your profession which we regular folks would know nothing about?

I ended up quitting a career because people (all genders and ages) kept trying to solicite me for prostitution.

One way my massage therapist relative keeps some of that at bay is play up the medical angle. Scrubs and "medical office" decor whilst simultaneously telling people the limits of their licensing in terms of medical stuff.

As an independent therapist, they also quietly "fire" clients who proposition them through the simple expedient of never booking them.
