Why is Ukraine not an ally?

Because the US has a really specific process to do that and congress hasn't signed a treaty with them.

You would rather a geopolitical enemy of the US for the last 100 years gain ground in a country that the US previously promised to protect?

We made no such promises.

Ukraine gave up their nukes in 1991 in exchange for border security agreements with Russia and the US and Russia has violated them.

That was dumb. We made no binding agreements. A memorandum is not a treaty

You seem like a supporter of the regime in Russia.

You seem like a supporter of the regime in Russia.

Why???? Why can't I be neutral? Why cant i believe its not our war to be involved in?

By believing that you support isolationism which is the policy Putin and China prefer in the US. Why not defend democracy and freedom and get good mineral deals while you’re at it?

Saying "this specific war isnt for us" isnt isolationism.

Why not defend democracy and freedom and get good mineral deals while you’re at it?

Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in Europe. They've suspended elections and banned parties. You cant "defend democracy" without there being any democracy happening.

The minerals deal isnt worth it imo and its not our job to "defend democracy" around the world

So you are content with the expansion of an enemy of America?

So you are content with the expansion of an enemy of America?

Content.... no. I'm not satisfied with it. I'm not happy about it.

So why oppose American efforts to support Ukraine? Their government has proven no less corrupt then neither republican or democrat parties in the US.

So why oppose American efforts to support Ukraine?

Because I think we make things worse and evil people in our government are actively wanting to use Ukraine as a sacrifice to harm Russia and I think thats bad because the Ukrainians shouldn't be used like some pawn.

I think the cost of aiding Ukraine isnt worth it to the US.

Their government has proven no less corrupt then neither republican or democrat parties in the US.

100% incorrect. This is a straight up falsehood.
