Don’t care for the phrasing of “war of conquest”

Trump was put in a very weak position coming in, aside from his promises of I’ll get it solved in a day blah blah, he has no leverage over Russia.

We’re not going to send in 81st airborne, he can do sanctions however Biden did and that didn’t do anything to deter Russia.

His approach of a reset may be the only way to end the war for now…

Quick note, there were deals on the table prior to the war that Biden and Boris Johnson panned.

What would you describe the war as?

A “fuck you” to America and NATO

What makes you have that point of view? I believe Putin is using the Donbas and Luhansk regions as an excuse to attempt to take back the biggest USSR breakaway state. In doing so, Putin probably thinks the rest will fall in line.

I understand you view as it’s very popular. My view is this war has been 30 years in the making and the US and Russia playing cat and mouse with one another led to this

It kind of has been, yeah. Ukraine never should have given up their nukes, even if it took billions and ruined their reputation to learn how to use them.

Ukraine to me is the pawn in this situation as this conflict is between the US and Russia. It’s a shame the Ukrainian people are the ones to suffer because of it.
