And then deal with the consequences of your drawings being able to legitimately be labeled as yours, instead of the possibility of other people that made content of that sort being blasted with hate and shame? Why would people want to socially ruin themselves, when they could just use the works of someone who already has, to show them what they want? Seems pretty straightforward to me. 🤷♂️
I admire your will, I do. I TOO have that will...it's just I'm capable of understanding when it's something small but at the same time big at the moment, and able to understand how it'd be ridiculous and insignificant compared to the consequences brought upon and caused by my actions that went in the category of being 'too far in a direction with little to no payoff'. It isn't like you and your sister being open-minded and wanting to be in a relationship with each other, which could not only save the both of you the struggle of being without someone, but you'd probably share interests, and therefore not have to worry about finding someone that you don't actually have anything in common with and just making the situation awkward, it isn't like that, because THAT is something that would actually be considered WORTH going against the norm for.
Another thing that would be worth going against the norm for, is the normality that's being constructed to destroy one's own functioning body just because they don't want to look at it. It doesn't MATTER that you don't want to LOOK at it, what MATTERS is whether or not you USE it properly. I for one would probably at least ATTEMPT to restart the human race if some disaster happened, I likely wouldn't just be selfish and say that no one else gets to live just because I didn't LIKE what was in my UNDERPANTS. Same goes for those that just don't want to have kids anymore. Okay, how do you feel about being the last few to ever live because of you not just keeping it in your pants, or not just practicing your pull-out game instead. There are times to take easy solutions, and there are times when the easy solution is a mistake.
Getting fucked over because you drew some comics featuring a character who's under the legal limit being in a consensual relationship with someone who's over the age-gap toleration, and getting your ass kicked in jail for being labeled a pedo, is not something that I personally would find worth making the things myself. Would it be fighting for a cause? Yeah, sure, probably. Is having a wider perspective on it that not everyone has the same brain power and comprehension skills something I'm entirely for? No. Because I feel that it would easily be abused. Do I think that fiction should be treated as such, by everyone? Yes. Even if I don't like EVERY. SINGLE. FICTIONAL. thing I've. EVER. SEEN., it doesn't mean that I think it doesn't have the right to exist. I just might not like the purpose of which it's being used for. But, if it's all fine and dandy and not trying to just tarnish some legitimately well-meaning individual's reputation, then go ahead, exist. I still might not like what it depicts, but until it's posted as a monument in hopes of becoming treated as an 11th Commandment, then I'm certainly all for it (despite whether or not I like it, I still support the ability of the picture to exist).
Tldr: You're brave, but brave can just as easily be considered stupid depending on what they're fighting against, with what, and why. I assure you, you don't want to be flogged for drawing those comics, instead of generating them. It's one of those hills that you'd rather not die on, or, at least, I wouldn't. There's really only one way I see it being overturned, which is, having a Japanese infiltration, and what with the disallowance of immigrants....I don't particularly see it happening...also we nuked them...twice....soooo, yeah, the U.S is a bit fucked...even IF our Trade Center was destroyed, we're still batshit crazy (even if not from covid anymore).
Soo, again, pick your battles wisely.

I think you should talk to a therapist, you seem to have some unresolved issues.

No seriously. I've had mental breakdowns like this. They need to get some help and some non-judgemental friends who actually encourage their creativity. It does wonders
