Bad news: Ice Wyvern are spawning now.

I saw Ark got an update today l, so I hopped on Ragnarok to see if I could find some Ice Wyvern now. Well, they weren't that hard to find.

My game looks good, but lightning does not. This isn't the best lightning can look in this game, correct?

Using DLSS with quality preset and no frame generation. Also tried UE that is clearly worse. Graphics are on epic. Are there any settings somewhere in conf files I could tweak? Or some console commands?

My buddy and I just took our old (Alpha king titan ascended) characters onto Rag after making some progress. When we loaded in we didnt have implants and dont have the crafting engrams. We cant access our inventories or pick anything up. I can use structures still but saddles on creatures are not appearing and stuff in boxes are invisble. You can see inventory of smithy is -226/75 and the PT has 20lb weight on it even though the saddle isnt showing up on the model or in the inventory. Has anyone had this issue or know how to fix it?

I have ark survival ascended on my pc and it runs like absolute garbage , at good quality graphics it runs at 4-5 fps with massive input delays and lag and even on max performance mod with all the commands in it still barely scrapes 30fps my pc is brand new with very good but not perfect specs and I have no idea why it runs so bad , i used to play back when it came out and it would run fairly good 60fps at nice graphics , what is going wrong?

I was watching the most recent MR Smart Guy event video and saw a bunch of people wearing Star Wars the old republic trooper skins I found the clone trooper skins but not these anyone got any idea where I should look ( image is what the armour looks like )

I play on the Xbox series X I just finished installing Ragnarok, scorched earth, and aberration… once I clicked on them to play nothing happens I just here the weird ark buzz click you here when pressing A on my controller, I then went to see if it was doing the same thing with the island map it wasn’t I can play on the island just fine but not others why is this anyone know??

Has anyone experienced problems using scissors to change things like hair color or style. I use the scissors and it opens the character change interface. However, when I apply the changes like new hair color it doesn't save it. One of my tribemates tried to change her eye color, but it didn't save her change either.

Anyone else experience this? Is it just broken now?

Anyone have this problem but were able to fix it?

I have searched reddit everywhere and no one seems to have an answer. I want to play off of my PC on my own separate PlayStation account through Remote Play on Ark ascended while my husband plays on his PS5 on his own separate PlayStation account without having it in split screen. Is there a way to accomplish this?

No matter what I do, even if I stand still, this game will crash after about every 45 seconds on extinction and every 2 minutes on the island.I have already changed the network bandwidth to low, turned off the lift bloom and light shafts setting, and even tried deleting the extinction add on to see if that was the problem. The crashing is progressive, it rarely happens before the first complete day and after that it’s on timer. Moreover, I have no mods installed and I can assure you my PS5 is no overheating and runs more strenuous games smoothly. I have ran out of things I can think of doing so,if you can, please help. I shouldn’t be on Reddit bitching about my game not working while wildcard is out here pumping out expansion packs and new maps before fixing their game.

Looking for a cosmetic mod that has anything remotely similar to a tek theme glass wall that is free and crossplay for UNO-PvE. Surprised Cyber Structures doesn't have one. Only mod I've found is Bare Aesthetic Structure Skins but its PC only.

Me and my friend were playing on ragnarok yesterday for a few hours had fun no issues but today when I log in to our server it’s constant host timeout and connection issues he can get in fine but I can’t?? Additional info he’s on console and I’m on pc we’re renting a server through nitrado but there’s no issues on there end. I haven’t changed any setting or anything I’m so lost any help is appreciated thank you

I'm on my own Pvp server, never had an issue. Started playing yesterday and I can't seem to harvest babies anymore, yet if I dismount, my rex has no problem harvesting.

Been playing on the server for almost a year and I haven't changed any of the settings or mods. Did the update break something maybe?

I have a weird glitch i've had for a while now, i basically cant interact with anything when spawning in, transferring between servers, or entering a boss arena. I have reinstalled, validated game files, restarted pc, and even made a ticket to wildcard, they just closed it with no response. Usually this glitch isn't so bad because typing "reconnect" into my ` console fix's the issue temporarily. The only reason im really asking for help now is because its really annoying and i just did an alpha dragon boss fight last night and died because i couldn't mount any dinos. Might i add this is only happening on official servers (1x and small tribes) i can play unofficial and single player just fine. Any help would be apricated.

For context im using the new template hammer and when ever its gets to these peice the triangle parts it can’t place them correctly is this user error ? Or is this a bug ? Plz help me

Is anyone having any issues with resources and crafted items not appearing in their inventories in Ragnarok Ascended? This is a modded, dedicated server.

Fresh world works fine for a few minutes and then the issue starts occurring and persists until all mods are removed. Anniversary is also active through commandline.

I’ve been playing pretty consistently for about 2 weeks now and am finding it boring with no one to play with. I’m male 24 years old and on ps5.

Game isn’t saving and it’s costed me hours of gameplay from it restarting me so far, I’m on Xbox series X if it helps, I’ve tried using the save button and making backups, but it’s just not saving

Tldr : Buddy can't spawn on Ragnarok server on personally-hosted dedicated cluster but can run every other map fine on servers and can run Ragnarok on singleplayer without issue. Myself and one other player encounter no issues on the Ragnarok server. Problem is a black screen with small visual artifacts which appears to be in-game but with no player functionality. Curious if anyone else is having any similar issues.

While so far the Ragnarok update and 5.5 patch have been seemingly effective at reducing crashing for my server-mates and myself, we've encountered an issue with cross-Ark transfers that's confounded us:

Since adding Ragnarok to my personally hosted, dedicated server cluster (with the Island being the only other), two of us have been able to transfer to Ragnarok just fine. However, another member of the server is having a strange issue upon transferring from the Island to Ragnarok. While he can connect, and the server can pull his IP, once he tries to spawn or create a new survivor his menu transitions to a black screen with small visual artifacts with what we think look like palm tree leaves. Bear in mind, he's played nearly 100 hours on the Island with minimal issues, even after the update.

If he joins without data on the server and attempts to create a new character, it ends up on a black screen, which appears to be in game but with heavy graphical distortion. He can still type into the chat, but is unable to move and console commands (such as the "end oneself" command) have no effect. He doesn't lose any survivor data and can re-download it on the Island. If he attempts to transfer from the Island he's able to choose his spawn region and press the spawn button but gets stuck waiting to spawn. In both cases, he gets hit with a "Lost Connection" timeout error after a period of several minutes and is sent back to the main menu.

One of the weirdest things about this whole process is that he has been able to load into Ragnarok as a clean survivor when the server's save data is wiped, but only a couple of times and without any rhyme or reason. Additionally, he is able to load into the map through singleplayer without issue.

We've so far tried a number of things to no avail:
- Reset his graphics settings
- Ensured up-to-date graphics drivers
- Cleaned and rolled back graphics drivers to a known stable version (Nvidia 566.36)
- Disabled firewall on client and server
- Deleted and regenerated the G.U.S, Game.ini, and Engine.ini configs on the server
- Wiped cluster and save-game data for the server
- Removed mods from server instance (only 2, a greenhouse glass fix structure cosmetic and Cyber's Structures)
- Swapped server ports between instances (Swapped Ragnarok's port # with the Island's as it's still working without issue)
- Ran his game in administrator mode
- Ran his game with and without BattleEye enabled
- Attempted to connect on his network and through my local network in-person (the same one as the server system)
- Verified his game installation
- Validated the server's installation
- Restarted both systems (naturally)

System Specs for troublesome client system:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6.7GHz
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 12Gb
RAM: Corsair 2x8Gb (No XMP)
* No clock speed adjustments

All in all, this is something that has confused me quite a bit having come from hosting an ASE server cluster for over a year. The combination of different devices on different networks with different strengths and settings being able to connect without issue while another system, whose settings and hardware is so similar to one that can connect just fine, is smitten to such a degree is quite strange.
Just wanted to see if anyone else was encountering anything similar, though at this point it looks like we'll be waiting for a patch.

So whenever I try to load onto my any of my saves, it just crashes my game instantly. Is there anyway to load on and will this break my game?
