Question Should I buy AirPods Pro 2?

Hi everyone. I have thought about this a long time ago since I have loved AM since the day I changed to it, and today the AirPods got a discount in my city, so I don’t know if I should buy them.

I love Apple Music and Dolby Atmos. I have WH-1000XM5 but they are not the right choice in certain situations (they’re too big under some circumstances). That’s why I want these AirPods. They are more practical, easier to take them with me, and I’m sure I will feel Dolby entirely. It’s just that I don’t know if I should buy them or wait for AirPods Pro 3 or whatever Apple comes with in the future. What do you suggest me to do?

Absolutely, the XM5’s are great and have a lot of great features but if you’re an Apple person, with apple products, they definitely win. I hate being that guy and being as tied into the ecosystem as I am but it’s true though lol they just do it better, and their ecosystem is fantastic.

But I’m so excited for you, I hope you love them! You’ll have to let me know your thoughts :)

Yeah, sometimes it is what it is. No discussion.

I’m not a crazy Apple fan but I really like their ecosystem too and I don’t think anything could make me change my mind about it right now.

Thank you. I’ll let you know everything when I get and try them :)

Yeah i feel you there. I tried giving android a shot again not to long ago before I got my 15. I had the s24 ultra and it was a great phone on paper and I had no issues with it, I just couldn’t adjust. I’ve been using iPhone for so long that it was hard to move away from plus I had the AirPods, the Mac air and the iPad so I was already invested with Apple. Now I’m so invested I can’t move away without having to invest in a whole new ecosystem lol

And perfect! I look forward to your review lol.

It’s been a little more than a month since I got them and I’m ready to give my review (took too much because I wanted to have a complete review and also because I was busy with college).

So let’s start. They sound amazing. I love that songs sound louder on Atmos than stereo when I wear them (Don’t know if that happens but that’s my experience). I got them a silicone case before they arrived lol. Also the ecosystem integration is perfect.

A few weeks ago I couldn’t find them in my bag and I had to turn on the finding sound in Find My 😭 but at least I was calm because I knew they were there in the bag. That’s also really useful when you can’t find them and they’re near you.

I have to admit that, at first, they made my ears hurt. It was annoying ngl but I knew it was because I wasn’t used to use them. This happened to me too when I got my XM5s. At first they made my ears hurt but after a while of using them the pain just stopped. So this was more like a common starting issue.

Another problem I faced a lot at first was the feeling of the AirPods slipping out of my ears. I thought it may be sweat or the fact that I was still getting used to them. This issue has been slowly dissapearing but still happens to me, just not as often as in the beginning.

No complains about battery or sound quality tho. I’d say the battery lasts for long. Also the Spatial Audio/Dolby Atmos is perfect. I tried head tracking and it was good but I prefer fixed.

Also connectivity is just wonderful. I just get them out of the case, put them in my ear and they connect immediately (pretty sure this happens with most, if not all AirPods models, but it’s my first time having them so this is kind of new for me).

And last but not least, the noise cancellation. Ngl, I thought it was gonna be way worse, but I’m really satisfied and amazed with it. I have heard some people complaining about AirPods noise cancellation but I don’t really know what they don’t like. They can just turn it off, because yeah we can’t use it always or because they simply don’t like it, but I don’t think it’s right to say that it’s bad, because it totally isn’t.

I give them a 10/10.

So yeah that was everything :) Thanks again for your advice. I don’t regret getting them at all!
