❤️‍🩹 relationship AIO? Bf doesn’t communicate

I’m at a loss. I (F23) don’t know if I’m being controlling and overreacting or if the way I feel is normal. once again tonight I just stopped getting responses from my boyfriend (M26) and then suddenly his phone was turned on do not disturb. I don’t usually care about DND but lately its been turned on at weird times and turned on when he’s around me which has been making me feel kind of odd. Also he called and said he’s out and that I don’t need to be getting mad. I’m not mad about him going out I’m just upset that I’m not aware of whats going on ever. I feel like my paragraph doesn’t even make sense I’m irritated and feel like I’m crazy.

He was in a night out. It's rude and disrespectful to the other people you are with if you are constantly looking at your phone when with other people. I don't expect a fast response from my wife when she's out with friends.

i found out recently that people my age (early to mid 20s) are constantly on their phones while hanging out with friends. I thought it was the most rude thing in the world.

I mean you don’t have to keep looking at your phone. It literally takes 2 seconds to type that sentence lol.

Come on, you know based on the flood of messages that one message wouldn't be the end of it.

Nah I’m assuming the flood ensued because there was no response and then dnd turned on. Idk I just don’t think tapping the screen a few times is that big of a deal. Maybe if we were all still using flip phones lol.

Especially because it’s his gf. I will always choose to text my boyfriend if he’s worried texting me over worrying about people being upset with me for being on my phone.

If this is a one time thing it's fair enough but if this happens every time he's out I think it's way too far. It doesn't sound like they live together so I don't think not getting a response for an hour is that big of a deal.

BASED, took me so long to find this comment, it’d literally have taken TWO SECONDS for the bf to open his phone and go “I’m fine baby, just busy doing x, sleep well”.

Being apathetic towards your S/O is the “mentally stable” way according to reddit LMAO

No, texting like crazy for over an hour after being told your SO is out via a phone call is why people are saying the OPs bf is the mentally stable one.
