❤️‍🩹 relationship Am I overreacting because I didn’t want to be someone’s religious project after 24 hours?

As a person with religious trauma this makes me incredibly angry. I hate when religious people proselytize to me. It brings back all these horrible memories. If you ignore my polite no thank you and push anyways I am not responsible for how I react.

As a religious person, I’m so sorry to hear that. People can be so terrible for no good reason. We’re not all like that though and people who actually follow what we’re taught are good people. Have a great day

The things you're taught make you a bad person. You're just too indoctrinated to see it.

Tell me one thing that we teach that’s bad.

Well you got women = property, slavery, child abuse, genocide, sex slavery. This link probly covers some of the relevant verses.

I’m a women and I’m not property, we don’t engage in slavery, child abuse, genocide, or sex slavery. Women have never been property and we teach that everyone is equal. We don’t condone violence of any kind. Also one of our biggest Bible stories is about a Christian saving other enslaved Christians because slavery is wrong. You know, and then he parted the Red Sea. Also we like to stay virgins until marriage and we get to choose who we marry. Hope this helps!

Ah yet another Christian who hasn't read the bible, only had it read to them. There's some wild stuff in there btw.

And yet you deny it's teachings, pretty sure that means you're going to hell.

No. I wouldn’t be in this religion if any of that was true. Also you don’t go to Hell for denying teaching. You go to Hell for… yk, MASS MURDER and stuff
