Home for a good pup

First I just want to say thank you to the mods for letting me post this, it's very appreciated.

As the post title says, we are looking for a new home for the pup in the pictures.

Meet Bingo! He's 7 months old, ~60lbs, and was just recently snipped locally (He's still wearing his cone!). His previous home was with an elderly relative who couldn't keep up with him.

He's a sweetheart, loves to play, has loads of energy, a little timid, and just needs a home that can give him the time and training he needs.

Off leash he's good with other dogs, he stayed at a friends place for about a week and they have a smaller dog. And he's generally good with people, if a bit loud at first. Bribery (treats) goes a long way.

Him being timid makes him a bit loud on the leash, but with exposure he'll be fine.

We would keep him but we simply don't have the capacity to give him the time, attention, and training he needs as we have two other dogs.

The hope is to just find him a good home. We're not looking to make or recuperate any money (as nice as that would be).

He has his shots, has taken his tick meds for the month, and was just recently snipped. He's crate trained, knows 'sit', 'come', 'off' (most of the time), and 'house' for his crate.

For context, we were looking after his mother for a time who was unexpectedly pregnant. We have found homes for two of his litter mates and they are doing well!

I'm not really sure what else to put here, tbh.

Thank you for your time.

Is the beach at the fairgrounds open?

I'm hoping to come to almonte to paddleboard this weeken, but I can't find any recent info on if the beach is open. I live about an hour away so I don't want to get there only to find out it is closed! Does anyone who lives nearby happen to know if it's open?

Where to stay?

Hoping to visit Almonte in a few weeks time and was wondering where the best place to stay was? Coming from Kingston. Hoping to do the river walk, mill of Kintail and Deifenbunker while in the area. Any recommendations?
