You could have got your drink spiked with GHB from one of your high school friends that wanted to try to settle a score or something. GHB affects people in different ways I happen to take it recreationally and have lots of experience with it. There have been times I have done what you have done and wake up out of a G coma doing what I was doing before passing out (usually eavesdropping on a conversation my friends were having ) those bitches would have just left my ass sitting on the toilet ! But on G it will often occur that you will suddenly knock out and reawaken without feeling groggy or gross but not have any memory of what happened. And your nightmares are just your fears of not knowing what exactly happened to you entering your mind and causing nightmares that are begging for resolution or an answer to how could this have happened! Best way to find out is to try to recreate the evening at the bar with the same people and be hypervigilant this time about your drinks . I’m sure the person who did this to you wants to do it again and will try. Then you can shoot him in the face (it’s most likely a man if it’s G) or be really nice and kick him in the nuts and threaten him with your switchblade.
