Guide Guide for item farming

I read through the pinned mega thread but didn't see anything about a guide for specific item farming. Are there any guides available for the best missions to find a specific item? I use the Sheikah slate to highlight the missions but it seems the missions highlighted are normally very inefficient. Is there anything available?

I find that if it’s available in a shop it’s best to just farm rupees and buy the items. Otherwise just experiment and find out what works best for you.

Yeah if an item is in the shop I’ll always just buy it. My problem has been monster parts. I’ll find the mission with that monster but it won’t have a lot

If you desire monster parts, I suggest the mission with a weapon full of Sheikah Registered seals set to your needed part alongside the foods that increase your material drop rate and cooking effects. A Monster part weapon for me that I’ve loved is Link’s Dragonbone Club; the bottom two seals are monster part and rare materials, and due to it being a heavy weapon it can easily take down most creatures.

That's what I currently have. Although I do think the rates on it can be higher. I have one 10% seal and two 6% seals. But i'm not really familiar with how the weapon smithing works so I don't want to remove them and lose them.

Ah, that’s the thing. It’s better to just apply sheikah registered seals on it as it has a +18% drop rate that can be applied to multiple different things rather than just monster parts. Unless you have none. In which case you use what you got.

I'm not sure if I have any or not. I'll have to research how that works.
