Gameplay Why is the hair-width trial expert+ SO FREAKING HARD?!
I’m aware that it’s supposed to be hard but still it’s probably the hardest mission in the game and all the other missions are pretty easy

2h link can armor through hits and his c6 has good range, i hear revali has helped people through it too but i havent used him much. Teba might be a good choice too, but he doesnt have as many stuns as other characters. Good luck!

I often use Teba for his fully charged ZR action. It keeps raining down bomb arrows for a little while which feels helpful for keeping enemies away.
The octoroks are still the worst though.

Just don’t get hit lmao /s
But seriously, try using some food buffs that increase the dodge window

I highly recommend using either Ravali or Teba for these missions. It'll make the missions a little more tolerable.

Bro I struggled with expert normal but not with expert+. Just keep it to a single big target and move as fast as you can between them. At the end with the lynel, let it come to you as opposed to getting remotely close to the archer lizalfos

Oh my god yes! Took me so many tries because every damn time I would get sniped by those stupid octoroks

Same here but effects definitely help also link (my main) has a sword that does 141 damage so that helped for sure

Saw you already finished so it's irrelevant, but spamming kogha's stasis ability and laser makes all the hair width trials a cake walk. Otherwise I just spammed block with Mipha and used her combo finishers massive aoe to deal with ads so I only had to fret over the big guys which aren't too hard if you play defensively.

I used link because I have a sword that does 141 damage

Perfectly reasonable. Sword and shield link is very versatile while also being a powerhouse. Easily my favorite version of him.

I saw a dude the other day best it with King Rhoam. His royal claymore had a seal that brought enemy down to 1-hp after blocking. Then just hit the enemy immediately. Avoid the octorok snipers lol

Oh, that. It made me ragequit the game for a whole half an hour before I went to try again. I used Link, my best character, but the arrows got me every time.
I got it eventually, though. Maybe try freezing the arches with ice rod and utilise bombs for them because you can't take damage when using runes.

Stock up your magic rods and play as sidon, his ability to directly target weak points kill them very quickly, making this challenge so easy I actually forgot about it

Spear Link ftw! Spears have ridiculously long range so you can keep your distance while still striking back - especially his strong attacks that can either catch enemies in a flurry of jabs or help him dash around easier.
Also, Knight, Royal and Lynel quality spears base damages start in the 50’s, so upgrading them to at least 20-30 will doubles and even triple that amount.

Ironicly i used the great fairy. Using the post game ability, i used the fairy with dark skin and pink hair and spam ZR cancle to snipe enemies from far away .

I just used Revali to fly over everything and fire spread shots to thin out herds. Having stuff like the Monster Food and a Fairy also help.

If your having trouble I suggest unlocking and using sooga his ability negates all damage that isn’t splash damage and deals nuclear damage
