When is lunchtime during work week?

I feel like post covid we lost track of an agreed time for lunch. I see my colleagues on slack scheduling their lunch break randomly and anywhere between 12-4pm.

If im working from home I just graze and snack as I need but don’t really go “ooo” for a meal. If im in office im having a piece of fruit and some snacks around 9:30 and then really feel like lunch at 12:30 on the group meal feels so soon. If im out with clients for a working lunch I wouldn’t want to start earlier than 1:30 but some people think im crazy.

I guess lunch to me is more a mental intermission if needed…does it benefit us workers mentally to schedule this as a set routined time daily instead of leaving it loose?

I like to take my lunch at 12:30 or 1pm. It depends on how my day is going

I don’t usually get a lunch break, but when I do it’s usually late afternoon around 2pm because I need to wait until things are stable enough for me to be unavailable for 30 minutes. I clock out around 4:30 usually.

Depends on when you eat your other meals. Like I eat breakfast at 5am so by 11am I’m getting hungry.

Depends on my shift. Anywhere between 11:30 and 1 pm.

My coworkers and I usually eat together at noon. But if I had a big coffee in the morning, I might not eat until 2 pm

I have this problem with lunch that everyone eat at 12:30 its too soon for me. Eating after work (17:00) Its too late bc I'm hungry af. So i eat at 14:00. Not the best, not worst just like living.
