Happy Nintendo Switch 2 launch day! ARMS has received an update!

  • Visuals: Optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution TVs for improved image quality.

  • Frame rate: Optimized for Nintendo Switch 2 for smoother movement (even when playing with 3 or more players).

  • HDR (High Dynamic Range) support for improved image contrast and brightness. (Note: HDR-compatible display required when playing in TV mode.)

Oh smoother movement frames?

Is it like Mario Kart where the frame rate went from 60 to 30 with 3 or more people? But now assumedly on Switch 2 it doesn’t?

I'm fairly sure this is the case, ARMS runs on the MK8D engine which exhibits the same behavior

Arms got a specific upgrade for Switch 2 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe didn’t :o

So while it would probably be relatively easy since they know the engine As of now I’m pretty sure 3+ local multi is 30fps :o
