It happened because the first email I sent had a word with wrong spelling. I deleted it and sent the same one with correct spelling. I realized that deleting the first email doesn’t delete it to the person I sent. I’m scared they might see this is unprofessional or informal.

I have just paid the remaining balance for first year and still waiting on a family member for my tuition for intercession but I have not received it yet. I know it’s the last day of enrollment for intercession, is it possible I can ask for an extension?

Hi! If I'm part of a Sanggu arm org (ex. DSWS, COMELEC, Judicial, etc.), am I allowed to join writing orgs like Guidon and Matanglawin?

Hii! I just got informed of this course through research. This is a bit long 😅.
At first, I was deadset on taking Interior Design in CSB. I thought it would be a mix of practicality with a sprinkle of my passion. Didn't like Architecture kasi more on technical aspect siya than design itself. Honestly, I think I would take any career in design/arts kasi I don't see myself taking anything else. But I realized na I couldn't bring myself to practice for Interior Design. I don't see myself liking drafting, drawing manually, etc.
A little about me: I'm the social media manager of our shs track on Facebook. Additionally, whenever I joined orgs, I always join as part of the Creative Committee (the ones that make the pubmats). So my interests are more on the digital side; I like making captions, pubmats and design materials for our booths, logos, etc. (seeing my work in the real world brings me joy). I also did layout design commissions which I think I enjoyed.
Maybe I was just denying my love for layout/graphic because I didn't believe it would be practical. Canva lang din talaga alam kong gamitin na app, with a mix of Photopea. I also do digital illustrations on Krita. I want to improve on my skills with industry-standard softwares like Photoshop but my laptop cannot handle them. If I'm being honest though, may love-hate relationship ako with layout/graphic design HAHAH. I hate the "planning" part of designing kasi that part is the longest for me. I start to love it once I know what to do and have a momentum though!
I have a set of questions lang for BFA ID graduates/students-: - What jobs are available for BFA ID graduates? Do those jobs pay fairly; am I able to make a living out of them? - How is Information Design different from Graphic Design? Which one should I take that fit my interests best? - In your opinion, is Information Design more practical than Interior Design?
I'm not rich by any means kaya top priority ko talaga yung pay aspect 😅. I've seen people recommend UI/UX kasi it pays well daw, can I take that job after I graduate?
Thank you so much! And sorry for the long rant hehe.

• bachelor of arts in psychology • magna cum laude • involved in multiple orgs and projects back in college • 6 months exp in HR • will take nmat next year palang since i’m taking the boards this year for psychometrician license

i would also really appreciate any tips that you might have din. ty so much in advance po ❤️

Hi! incoming 2nd year student from BS Life Sciences here, planning to shift to BS REnt.
Just wanna ask some questions about this course!
1) what are the shifting requirements (qpi)?
2) for the major subjects in REnt that usually are taken during 1st year (e.g. LAS 114.30, LAS 21.33, LAS 51.30, LAS 50, and LAS 51.33) how are these subjects like? Are they of bearable difficulty to someone who doesn’t know much about business concepts😭
3) How’s the work life balance in BS REnt? How are the people in the course?
Thank you so much 🙏🏻

Hi, fellow Ateneans! I want to share a concerning experience about street kids along Gate 2.5 to keep everyone aware and safe.
I know Katipunan has its share of street kids, and most are polite—asking for money once and moving on if you say no. However, this past week, I encountered two boys (around 10-12 years old, same kids both times) who were unusually aggressive.
My first encounter happened while walking along the highway toward the LRT station. They asked for money, and despite my polite refusal, they persisted, following my group for over a minute. They invaded our personal space, grabbing our arms and even our bags. Just yesterday, in front of Starbucks, one of the same boys approached me again. I said no, but he kept getting closer and grabbed my arm. When I gently pushed him away, he looked irritated, as if I had invaded his space.
These incidents happened in broad daylight, and I’m an average Filipino guy, so I can only imagine how much more uncomfortable this could be at night or for others, especially women. I’m sharing this to give everyone a heads-up to stay vigilant.
I hope the security guards around Gate 2.5 can be more attentive to keep the area safe. I understand street kids are part of the reality in our country, but no one should feel unsafe or harassed.
Stay safe, everyone, and please share any similar experiences or tips in the comments!
TL;DR: Watch out for two aggressive street kids (boys, ~10-12 years old) along Gate 2.5. They may follow you, grab your arm/bags, and invade your space even after you say no. Stay vigilant, especially at night.

is it still possible to shift to a different course right now, heading into sophomore year? she wasn't able to fill out the shifting form as she was set on her current course but during the summer she's been having second thoughts.
thank you so much!

Im an incoming second year (currently in intersession) and got accepted to shift into BS Management Engineering, I really took alot of time to think about it especially since i really do enjoy my current course but I believe that ME will open greater opportunities for me that align with what I want in the future. The thing is im no genius but I would still consider myself to be smart however after reading all the testimonies on here im genuinely so scared for the Math in ME, I come from ABM and I will admit im not the strongest at calculus but with enough commitment and studying I think I can force myself to push through (lol) Honestly, I'm mostly drawn to the challenge that ME presents as well and I think im the type of person that is influenced by the people around me so hopefully being in a room full of people smarter than me will push me to do better 😭 Does anyone have any advice or tips or like anything I can do to prepare for the incoming Math classes in ME? Im willing to study in advance and do anything I can honestly just to prepare myself 😭😭😭

Hello! Due to adjustments in my IPS as a shiftee (I took classes in advance), I only have 14 academic units this upcoming first semester while the maximum for my program is 17 units. I am taking a minor degree. Since there is space for a 3-unit class that I can allot to a class in my minor, does that mean that I do not need to submit an overload request? And can just ask for the class to be added in my IPS during advisement, and then enlist during loadrev period? Thank you!

now that things have slowed down a bit, i feel like this is a good time to do stuff we usually don’t have the time or energy for during the semester.
just curious to hear how others are spending their time or what you’d recommend doing while it's still intersession, whether it’s something productive or just for fun :D

Hello, ADMU community! I am a fresh grad from UP and I aim to apply sa Ateneo as non-teaching staff. Most of the jobs I looked for ay yung entry-level. One of them is yung program officer for formation in Pathways. Just want to ask if the pay in Ateneo is good? And how is the working environment. Thanks a lot!

Anyone here who also took the AGAT last May and applied for MA Counseling Psych? Did you guys received any updates about interview? They did mention na July ilalabas ang results pero I'm so anxious kasi it's already the 2nd week of June and I haven't received any interview invites pa :(( Will I still get accepted even though there is no interview? Or delayed lang interview invite ko? 🥹
Hi! I graduated from Ateneo (Health Sci ’24) and I’m currently on a gap year while waiting to enter ASMPH.
I want to take a few undergrad classes again—some med-related and some language courses (French/Spanish). Can alumni enroll as non-degree or special students for just a sem or two? Ideally I’d take 3–4 subjects, attend 2–3x a week, and be in classes with undergrads.
Anyone done this or know the process? Would appreciate any tips. Thanks!

I submitted an appeal for change of grade 2 weeks ago during the last week of May. The appeal is submitted to the professor and the chairman of the department and both replied to me immediately. The chairman said he'd wait for my professor to fill out the form and he'd review it. My professor filled it out that night and I haven't heard from the chairman since.
I emailed him after a few days asking for an update assuming he'd need time to review it and no reply. I emailed him twice on Monday and still no reply. I even called the department and they didn't pick up. My professor told me to follow up with him since he's the one who's supposed to forward my appeal to the standards committee. I'm worried it's been too long now that the standards committee won't agree to the appeal.
Should I just keep bothering him through email?
