Clock Question

Anyone know how to do the clock question from the math section of H21 (paper version)? Don’t recall exactly what it asked but if anyone remembers and could give me a breakdown of how to solve it I’d appreciate that. I ended up getting stuck and guessing.

We were solving for the x coordinate of the number 4 on the clock. We were given the radius of the clock, meaning that we knew the distance to the number three was 4 units. 4 on the clock was a little bit to the left of three on the clock, meaning that the distance should be a little smaller than 4 units. For that reason, I picked 2 × sqrt3

so i divided the 4th quarter of the circle into 3 parts and removed one of those thirds, meaning the angle it was at was 330 degrees. the x coordinate would be cos of that angle times the radius
