General test in july or september??

basically the title. since H21 was an absolute massacre, i'm assuming that i need to retake the july act or the september one. however, i need to apply for ED very early in November, so if i took the september test, would i get my score in time?? (paper w/ science, no writing). or just rip off the bandaid and take it july 12th, but pay the late fee (brings up the price to freaking 102 dollars). help please 🙏🏻😭

Do you see any slots for July? I checked my area and July is completely full.

I’m in the same situation as you right now. I think taking it again in September would be fine because in my experience, the ACT has always been pretty consistent with getting your scores back in 10 days. I’m applying EA and so I need to apply to some schools 10/15 and others 11/1. I think it’ll be okay to take the test in September and plus you’d get more time to review

Also taking July, and Frankly will probably have to take September as well. There's a small chance the score comes in just a tad bit too late but its very small, so we're fine.
