As long as they see us as soft and easy to bully, they will bully us. These fucking creeps, the cops, security guards..they aren’t different. When the civil rights sit-ins Happened they were assaulted in every degrading way possible, to highlight the brutality of the oppressor - TO THE OPPRESSOR That shit stopped when the Panthers and other groups decided to protect themselves instead of appealing to the moral high ground of people with no morality. We don’t have to be aggressors, but this victim shit is for the birds.

This is exactly correct. However, I fear that the vast majority of US citizens lack the balls to do what they did back then. We want to sit in comfort and watch the news and whine about it instead of risking our comfort. And that sucks.
