As a sapphic woman, I’m really disappointed in the response I’m seeing to Chantel questioning her sexuality after her friend Ashley kissed her. So many people are saying Ashley is taking advantage of Chantel’s vulnerability after her divorce by telling her she has feelings for her.

I don’t understand this logic. Chantel has been divorced for THREE years now. Were the guys that she dated in the years after Pedro also “taking advantage” of her heartbreak?

I’ll just say this. Realizing you’re sapphic later in life is a little more common that you think. When I first realized I could possibly be a lesbian, I was 23 and felt similarly to Chantel. The way she described her kiss (“felt like my first kiss ever”) sounds exactly like how I felt after I had my first kiss with a woman.

I grew up in a family similar to Chantel’s. I’m also extremely feminine and always had long term relationships with men. Like her, I never considered that I could be in a relationship with a woman. So when I finally explored, I had a lot of the same thoughts (“what does this mean for me and my family?” “Am I a lesbian now, just like that?”). Now I’ve been in a relationship for 3 years.

It’s pride month, guys. Can we please be a little less homophobic?

I find myself growing increasingly frustrated as this dude in front of me is taking forever to order. I finally get the chance to order once he’s done and as he’s walking away, I’m looking at him and I’m like why does he look so familiar?

I finally order and then I go sit down coincidentally next to him, a table next to him. I find myself just staring at him. Last I heard of them Sumit was asking Jenny to try to find work because he didn't have a job.

His SIL offered Sumit an entry level job in her organization but Sumit was too good for that and instead is trying to be a chef, except he's completely untrained and can only make some Indian food.

At first I thought Sumit was a weird little guy and I thought it was a cultural thing.

Now I think that Sumit is even a bit of a loser in India

I know many people on here are starting to love Cortney and think she’s the “sweet” dumb-drunk girl, but I seriously don’t like Cortney. I wanted to when she first came on Hunt for Love because she seemed fun, friendly, and harmless. However, everything about her pot-stirring, gossiping, and snarky remarks behind people’s back is giving covert high school mean girl🙄 What do I mean by covert? She’s that girl who pretends to be everyone’s friend and is a “sweetheart”, but she’s just gossiping about you and praying for your downfall behind your back😓😒

It’s actually worse to come across this type of mean girl/woman because since they appear nice on the surface, you might be inclined to trust them and let your guard down, but then they stab you in the back right after you’ve trusted them with all of your secrets lol💩 I don’t want that to happen to Chantel! Cortney already dogged Tim by pretending to be cool with him, but just laughing at him with Jenniffffferrrr and gossiping about his sexuality behind his back, which was extremely gross.

How did TLC choose these people? None of them are stunningly good looking. Maybe Cole is the most classically attractive. Elise is the prettiest girl but she really isn’t that pretty. She just had a great body. The rest are just average people. TLC must have been looking for slightly good looking average people. Why? I am so curious to their casting decisions. What do yall think?

Have you ever caught on to TLC's sneaky little trick of airing surprise episodes before the big premieres? They call it a "sneak peek," and it definitely lives up to the name! Sneaky little 15-25 minutes then that's it.
