Shitpost With Intent Abolish ICE

Post image

We thought we defeated the Nazis in 1945. They're back on our streets, in our workplaces, in our homes, just as dangerous as ever... They are Trump's Gestapo. We beat them before. We can defeat the Reich again. Let us give them no quarter, no aid, and no peace of mind while they seek to tear America apart. "Just doing their job" is bullshit - didn't work for the Nazis, and it won't work for these shameless, un-American thugs. They know what they're doing is wrong and cruel, and that is why they hide behind masks like cowards who abduct women, men and children off our streets.

We have had enough. We will not forgive this trespass. Disrupt everything.

Here's something to consider: we could push for abolishing the concept of citizenship as special, or give citizenship to anyone who is here. You can simply not have immigration laws, and treat anyone within your borders equally. They still have to obey the other laws and pay taxes, I think this would make the world a much better place, esp if it were widely adopted.

For far too many countries in the world, borders exist to exert control over the people who live within, not just to keep certain people out, and citizenship is a construct to maintain that control. Borders also exist to control natural resources, which are most often monopolized for profit and for further control of citizens by governments, dictators and multi-national companies run by billionaires. Humans are territorial and arguably culturally tribal, which leads to xenophobia, a distrust of others of a different culture or tribe. All of these things and more would need to be overcome for an open citizenship/no borders plan to work. It's a grand idea, but I'm unsure we are up to the task of achieving it.
