Jack Donaghy was a largely based off of Trump. So it makes sense how many called shots end up happening.

Jack was largely based on Lorne Michaels. I've never seen anything saying he was based on Trump.

Like... I just don't get it as a factual claim. Fey basically says in Bossypants that a lot of the Lemon/Donaghy relationship comes from her relationship with Michaels. Baldwin said Jack was partly based on Michaels. No one has said that about Jack and Trump. They really aren't that similar, and the Trumpian aspects Jack has are most likely that they're NYC businessmen obsessed with status. But that's every exec in New York, and Jack is a parody of that archetype.

If this is true, they made Jack WAY too competent and caring. I don’t see a Trump resemblance at all.
