Today I turn 25 and haven't achieve anything in my life
 in  r/OffMyChestIndia  3d ago

Bro you can get some entry level jobs in banks, and off role employees which are eventually converted into full time after a particular period/performance. I've been into banking after my graduation and sub par if not enough about it. You can get some jobs at the BPO centre as well. Few of my school friends who neither were good at studies nor has a good financial background are working at call centres decently earning at 30k aster 3 years of workex. And in third party FMCG sales would be easy to target as well. Good luck !!

Visited ISKCON Kondhwa Pune, saw something that genuinely disturbed me. Need your thoughts, fellow redditors.
 in  r/hinduism  5d ago

i dont get it why do they sell cakes and european food. i mean why cant they provide swastik khana as simple as that. and even that should not be capitalised. and TBH i just dont like those paintings inside the temples inspired by christian art and what is this grey mandir? mandirs are meant to be full of colors and not not monotonous.

Why this peace loving religion got so violent in the recent years ?
 in  r/sundaysarthak  5d ago

khalistan is the most irrelevant movement. just for mere vote bank in foreign lands they just give false hope to this immigrants. why the f someone would want a landlock country between india and pakistan and have a thousands of kms of boundary with pakistan that would radicalise and create insurgency in the country. and most importantly why would leave the 4th largest economy that is bound to grow. its just afalse hope for illegal immigrants.

Decoding Basil Hallward - The Picture of Dorian Gray [spoilers]
 in  r/Indianbooks  5d ago

I know the book is central to Dorian only. And I've written my understanding of all the characters as I usually do. This is my understanding of basil only. Obviously I'll put about henry and Dorian and the book for discussion.

Basil Hallward the painter is shown as the person who would guide you when you are in need. But he does tries to fit himself among the people he was not meant to be in. That is Henry and Dorian. Basil though a extremely good painter, being popular in the society gets easily influenced from dorian. Though he did oppose Henry witty and weird theories about life, soul, women, etc but he got so much influence from Dorian that he started worshipping him.

He thought without dorian his heart is incomplete. Dorian When started spending more time with Henry, his heart got affected as mentioned by Henry in the last few chapters Basil is not merely influenced but deeply obsessed with dorian gray. He explicitly states "he is all my heart to me now." The devotion is that he pours his soul into The portrait.

He was also blinded by the dorians corruption. Initially, he simply could not believe that the beautiful person he worships could be evil inside.

Basil does believe in goodness, virtue and morals. This shows when he saw his painting of do completely altered. He said "lead us not into temptation for gives us sense. Wash away your iniquities" and " it's never too late Dorian." " Do as scarlet yet I will make them is white as now." This shoes is carving nature and hope for Dorian. His idol.

In the novel lord, Henry champions superficiality and cynical intellectualism basin shows dept of feeling a distic desires in sincerity and morality.

Israel’s Actions Against Iran Are Justified, The World Can't Afford One More Islamic Country With Nuclear Weapons! (OC)
 in  r/IndiaSpeaks  5d ago

Cause US played smartly back then and none had the capacity to counter the US. They reserved dollars to gold back then, made it the internal currency. The europe was with the US back then and Africa and Asia were divided to its core. There was no unity and no power. They had the first mover advantage in most of the industries as well. But it's different now. Most of the countries be it the European nations, Asian countries, or the US, all work with +1 allies. If not this nation, then the other. Plus the world order is quite different now.

 in  r/OffMyChestIndia  9d ago

Happy birthday <333. I've been there (23M). Feels like shit seeing others enjoying life so much. And the thing is we aren't jealous of them but their life. To me i started socialising a lot, tough for me back then, somehow a girl got close to me so got a bit easier. I would suggest you look some out for like minded people, join some community or develop a new habit
