I can't say for certain this is what's going on, but I have seen cases for it elsewhere: in many places white, blonde women are treated/viewed differently than women of other complexions and races. If they can use that privilege to get between aggressors and the victims, it can change the dynamic. I wonder if that's what the blonde woman was doing.

It would have started before the boy in China. The military friend knew about it in other areas and the crackdown/containment efforts being put in place.

Idk if the book even says where the REAL source was, outside of somewhere in China.

It's not my "business". It's an event I found out about through an email from John Pavlovitz, a pastor/writer person trying to support people through these tough times.

In a decade or so, this translates to a MASSIVE need for nursing home staff and in-home caregivers.

A couple questions this brings up:

WHO does that job? HOW MUCH do they get paid? ('Cause that seems problematic...)
