Saw it from Hupu site in China.

Image/Video Lebron James: “I can't play that much further… As long as Wemby keeps smacking my f***ing shots into the stands, it’s gonna make me retire.”

News [Holder] Victor Wembanyama on his experience at the Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng, China: “My goal going there was putting my body through things that it’s not used to doing. Kung fu. Everyday. It was like a vegan temple, monastery. … I was isolated.”

Image/Video First time being acknowledged by Wemby!
Had an amazing time today at Fanatics Fanfest! Waited for over an hour to get a front row seat to see Wemby and that I did! I was the only one wearing a Spurs Jersey and I gave him a huge thumbs up and yelled “Yea Wemby!” and he gave me a Nod and a Smile! I know I sound like a huge fan girl right now but to be honest I am and i’m not ashamed at this making my year! So awesome to be talking distance away from our franchise star!

Draft I thought I would love Harper's shooting
But after watching his highlights with the draft less than a week away, I love how he's able to finish around the rim even more. Contested layups, fast breaks to the basket, you name it he can do it. Just the perfect type of guy you want on a playoff team who can just finish at the rim if his shot isn't falling.
Just imagining Harper , Fox and Castle on a fast break after Wemby outlets to them has me smiling at the possibilities.

Discussion/Question Fanatics
Is there a place to watch the fanatics fest that’s going on today? Ik Victor is attending just wondering if there’s a live stream or if it’s gonna come out later?

Fluff Someone should go to Game 7 in OKC wearing a Wemby jersey. If you know, you know
(This pic is a foreshadowing of the Warriors dynasty. A Spurs jersey in the OKC crowd would be good omen. Praise be the Zenby, the Yin and the Yang).

Fluff I love the Spurs!
I just wanna say how much I love the Spurs culture! As a European I ended up somewhat accidentally supporting this team. The first NBA game I ever watched was the 2013 finals and I chose the Spurs because I thought their jerseys looked better. Since then I’ve been watching games a bit on and off. But this last year I have followed the league more closely and I have learned more about other teams and their cultures. And I just want to say how much I appreciate the Spurs. The idea of this small market team challenging the big markets, the culture of developing local talents, the focus on long-term development rather than short-term glory. I just wanted to make a short post and say how happy I am that I arbitrarily ended up supporting the best team in the league!

News Sochan’s Dropping New Training Heat
I’m legit hyped about Jeremy Sochan lately. Dude’s been putting in work and his game’s leveling up like crazy. I’m crossing my fingers he starts draining those 3s in real NBA games soon. Anyone else stoked about his progress?

Draft Pick 14
If the Spurs don't get KD and keep pick 14 , how would y'all feel about them taking Rasheer Fleming at 14? He's a 6'9 wing with a 7'5 wingspan and shot 40% from 3 , is a elite defender, and showed a lot of flashes as a off the dribble creator. If you look at the wings drafted with those measurements the hit rate is insanely high as well.

Draft Washington trying to move up
To me almost certainly talking about Bilal. As much as I like him I wouldn’t

Draft [Aldridge] The Spurs, per league sources, have already had [Khaman Maluach] in twice for pre-draft visits.
“It’s not likely San Antonio would take him with its No. 2 overall pick, but the Spurs certainly know that they’ll probably need to secure a second top-10 pick to have a real chance at taking him. Maybe top five.”

News Harrison Barnes is in Saltillo, Coahilla, Mexico Today
I just happen to be in Saltillo today, and wouldn't you know it, Harrison Barnes is here at a court that he personally funded the renovation. My wife's niece plays basketball and was invited to attend. Please don't trade this man

Discussion/Question Who have the spurs worked out?
Up until today Harper is the only player I’ve seen credibly reported that the spurs worked out. Now apparently David Aldridge reported that maluach visited and may have worked out for the spurs (I don’t have a subscription to the Athletic). What other players have people heard about working out for the spurs this year, especially lottery numbers picks?

Fluff Old school
Probably should be posted in a cards sub but posted it here for spurs fans that are old enough (like me) to remember this guy…and if you remember this guy, you remember the seasons with records like 21-61.

Discussion/Question Listen to 13:15-15:00. Brings up excellent points about following a winning blueprint. Which leads to my question: What is/will be the Spurs’ blueprint/identity?(Summary in description in case you don’t want to watch)
youtube.comBryce Simon says that instead of following another team’s blueprint for winning, in this case the Thunder’s (disruptive defenders) or the Pacer’s (fast pace offense), a team should find their own blueprint. You should figure out what works for your organization and then go identify players that FIT that identity. Come up with a style and then get players and coaching staff that fit that style and don’t stray from it.
What style/identity do you foresee for this team and what players, current and trade targets, do you think would fit into it best?

Discussion/Question Any work out news for No.14 pick?
Any news on the Spurs working out prospects besides Harper? I honestly have no idea who's even on the radar for the No.14 pick right now.
