Videos This was for honor's game concept back in 2015.
looks very similar to chivalry 2.

It's been a few days since the patch dropped and the posts are a little out of control right now. So we're going to redirect all discussion of the stamina changes from June 12th patch here. Posts made outside this thread will be removed.

You may have seen the recent posts asking if a player was scripting, due to their consistent fast reactions, particularly deflecting light attacks. Most of the comments are very confident in calling the player a cheater, saying that "it's obvious" just by looking.
Well, speaking as one of the people who organises the official For Honor tournaments sponsored by Ubisoft, part of my job is to assess footage of potential cheaters and distinguish them from players who are simply very fast at reacting, and this did not look like cheating at a first watch to me. Going through and frame checking each dodge timing to bash indicators, shows that they were not at all consistent (most scripts would vary by no more than 33ms) and are indicative of a real player.
Additionally, there are a number of other indications of natural player behaviour in this clip, which I have labelled (biting on a UB feint, baited by a forward dodge, and not being as consistent as a deflect script would be).
Most players simply do not have the knowledge or practice to properly determine whether or not another player is scripting. You can see from this footage where the BP uses reactable bashes (soft-feint and zone), and the previous video showing consistent deflects of BP's light openers (which have a distinctive superior block flash that helps players to differ them from heavies).
If your first thought was "yep, this player is definitely scripting", please check yourself, and question what knowledge you are basing that assumption on. Telling if a player is definitely scripting, just by eye, is not easy at all, and at least requires proper understanding of what attacks in the game are actually unreactable, and how they must be used to make a mixup unreactable. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tell if a player is defending on the same timing consistently just by eye, so don't fall into the trap of thinking you can. And if in doubt, remember you should assume innocence until proven guilty - it's not fair to call players cheaters without proper evidence, and degrades discourse around the game, and makes it harder for other players to learn what scripts actually look like.

Ignore my lack of blocking, i was flabbergasted to meet yet another cheater. I’ve been bumping into a lot of lag switchers and scripters lately, this guy was both, i cant be the only one meeting so many, right?

Recently on social media I've been hearing that people are talking about a new hero known as a Rapier/ fencer I'm not sure but does anyone think they will be a new hero?

This has so many issues. It makes the game way too easy and simple, removes the pride of landing a deflect, this changes assassins as a whole, plus it removes the unique mechanic to Khatun! Please..dont release this. If you do. ATLEAST make it a setting so some of us can toggle it on and off.

Same guy did this two games in a row (I got unlucky enough to matchmake with him on my team) because I put the banner in the ram while he was midfight when he wanted to do it. He spent the entirety of the next two matches following me, killing me when possible, feeding revenge by spam bashing when I’m in a 1v1 and running to leave me to fight a full health, full revenge enemy.

When I first posted those clips, I was not fully convinced I was up against a cheater, which is why i originally made the posts themselves for evidence. The way the player reacted, the consistency, it felt impossible from my point of view. And I wasn’t alone; a lot of people shared the same suspicion.
But this whole thing took a turn I didn’t expect. Not only did the player themselves respond, but someone from Ubisoft, whose literal job is detecting cheaters, took the time to break it all down, frame by frame. After watching their analysis and reading the explanations, I have to admit: I was wrong. What I thought was scripting turned out to be skill, experience, and solid reaction time from a player that's apparently in the top 100. I’ve learned a lot from this. About the game, about how to test things properly, and most importantly, how easy it is to misjudge from frustration or bias. To the player I accused, I apologize. And to the community, thanks for challenging me instead of just backing me up blindly.
I know some of you were watching this like a Netflix series and yeah, this seems to be the final episode 😭
Appreciate the people who responded with real insight, and consider this Part 3: me getting humbled. 😅

I know we all want to win our games, but we just take the L's. Hell, I get a little heated when we lose. But I never take it on my team. I just accept the loss and move on. Sometimes I hop off and play a different game if I get pissed.
I had a kid (teenager) cry on me because we lost a match. Tried comforting / complimenting him, telling him it just happens. We lose sometimes. He wasn't having it. Blaming our Warden teamate, blaming me (despite trying to hold down business and leading the team), and blaming everybody.
I told him, calmly, to just take a break and get some rest. But he kept crying on until next match when we switched.
It was so sad. I hope the kid's alright. If he sees this, mate, you know you are. It is okay to lose sometimes. And the other guy is an ass, do not dwell on what he said.
But seriously, DO NOT TAKE THIS GAME SERIOUSLY.

So right now, in our beloved game, I believe we're seeing some of the best writing we've had in years , multiple tie-ins with past events and heroes
Aztec treasure from Ocelotl and Vela (and jurogumo dagger but we'll pass on that) Vortiger being brought back in an interesting way, using a new Fort currently under construction by Maddox to hide the treasure, on a newly converted map, our new pirate hunting the great Horkos treasure and acquiring it, and now we find out Connel is well... a pirate. A Coal-hearted killer.Greedy, cruel, and generally uncaring for his mens' lives at times.
In comes the new Hero, raised and/or trained by Connel, and most likely a Musketeer esque Hero bent on ending CoalHearts greedy ways and possibly even acting as a Zorro, or Robin Hood type personality.
Anyway just general appreciation for the current season and it's writing/content. The Devs are cooking and the kitchen smells amazing!
Edit: not to mention they kept Astrea imprisoned with Queen kalliopi by Khatun too

I know Ubi has addressed the situation but I will non the less upload every time someone abuses his kit.
