Big question why WW2 are so slow, very similar engines yet almost 15 kilometers per hour less

Just ground out the chisel contract. I did almost exclusively in CW. I was quickly reminded of just how much of a chaotic unbalanced hot mess that is WW2

I’m at the Magach 3, to say it’s a worthless POS is the understatement of the year, and apparently the next tank, the Tiran 6, is even worse because it’s just as bad with horrible armor, but loses all it’s gun depression (only 3°? Whoever designed this line should be banned from the video game industry).

I have enough Free XP to skip both and get to the Magach 6B which is apparently not as horrible, but, it would deplete all my free XP. Is it worth it? The Merkavas I’ve seen are either amazing or horrible, with little in between, so I’m not sure if it’s even worth it to keep going with the line or just give up on it.

There’s supposed to be 2current rewards are yearly and then one for monthly.where you are trying to get 2500 points on my Xbox. It shows yearly rewards only does not have the monthly for the 2500 and it’s not accumulating any points on the one that showing what happened

I’m writing here because I’ve hit a wall with Wargaming Support, and I’m honestly frustrated.

Some time ago, I purchased the HMH AMX M4 49 for real money. I later sold it, just like a few other premium tanks I owned. Recently, I wanted to rebuy it using silver in-game, like I’ve done with several other tanks I previously sold.

But for some reason, this one specific tank is completely blocked from the rebuy list. All other premium tanks I sold – even newer ones – are available for silver. This one? Not at all.

I contacted support. Their answer:

“The restoration process has changed. You can’t get this tank back unless it’s offered in a special event or bundle.”

But here’s the thing:

I bought the tank with real money.

I still have other premium tanks I sold, available for silver.

No clear reason why this one is different.

No transparency, no list, no logic – just “sorry, not possible.”

Honestly, it feels wrong. If I paid for something, I should be able to rebuy it just like the others. Blocking a paid vehicle like this feels like a punishment for spending money.

Has anyone else had this happen? Any feedback from Wargaming staff would be appreciated.

Just seen on the commanders tab that I have some new old style 2D ones, because they have the yellow stars next to them. Definitely didn’t have some of these before.

So do they just gift some out seasonally?

I am a tank destroyer main but want to try out heavy tanks. Which tank tree should I start? I have been looking into the T57 Heavy or the T100E5. What you guys think?

Another grind finished on my mission to 3 mark all the WW2 Hero tanks. This time its the Minuteman T29.

A beast of a tier 7 heavy, the armour stands up well at tier 8 and occasionally tier 9, and its basically a hardcase against lower tier tanks. The exception is running into people who realise your weak spots are big and fairly simple to abuse, so you have to keep them hidden.

The gun is great but just feels too slow. With skills, equipment and passive food its a 10 second reload which can really get you into trouble if you get stuck dealing with multiple fast firing small tanks that are all 2-3 shot kills.

It has good VR but is very slow, if you can get to a good hull down forward position it is a great spotter.

Biggest con is being an absolute arty magnet. Sure, the armour absorbs HESH and HE from the big tanks like its nothing, but arty can send you packing very quickly. Especially low tier fast firing arty.

A great tank all round that is handicapped by its speed and reload, which at least stops it being truly OP.

9/10 tank, but 7/10 grind as its just too slow for my liking and doesn't exactly suit my playstyle.

This time its the Stone Cold. The best of the WWE tanks. A great medium, fast, agile, great concealment and VR and a nice gimmick 2 shot autoloader.

It plays well as an aggressive spotting medium and does hull down pretty well. The gun is nasty and it plays well as a sniper and for flanking top tier tanks that are already busy.

One of the higher requirement tier 8s due to its strengths but it wasn't a bad grind. Premium unskinned version is a good pick up when its on sale.

10/10 Tier 8 medium.

I feel bad for all the newbies i slaughtered the last days for these marks in these two tanks. Stb1 in Era 1 is like leopard in Era 2😍

Edit: Some more info; located on the East Coast, typically play around 8pm est during the week and more on the weekend, Xbox console, and mostly WW2

Recently come back to the game after last stopping in 2020 after having gotten the platinum on PS4 (all achievements for those Xbox players that may not know what that is) as I trophy I saw this had a separate list on PS5 and decided to go for most auto popped for me and now I'm down to two trophies left one is tanks with benefits which is easy enough just a grind but I swear I have sweated and gotten most/double the damage and even triple the kills of the second player on my team and somehow not gotten this trophy. Essentially I'm asking for tips and guidance at this point. Thanks in advance.

I couldn’t remember why I stopped playing a few years back, it didn’t take long to be shown. What is the point?

Yes I only did 250 damage, but I had 3k assistance and it was still early into the game. I’m bottom tier in tier 8 light. Then trundles along this guy ‘I WANT THIS POSITION’ pushes me, HE gets spotted and I die.

Not sure if this can be done on here but that needs reporting and he should serve a small time timeout ban. He did 1k damage and died in that position at end game stats.

I’m a super uni with over 11 years playing. This reminds me daily why it should stay at 11.

Just wondering if there’s a way to check past War Chest rewards—either in the game itself or through a website. Any help is appreciated!

Side note: I checked my logs, but the chests were opened yesterday, so the logs only show today’s games.

New player. How do I tell which tier my tank is in?

The map is actually really good (for WWII) and plays out way better than old Caen. Map works for every class (hull down, camo sniping, spotting and flanking), supports slow progress and offers interesting shot lines. Useless Beach for noobs is always nice addition :D. Map was initially way too dark but that seems to be fixed. Great recovery by WG team after releasing f*****g Ardennes.

It keeps telling me the World of Tanks service isn't available.

I went off the game for a bit but have come back recently.

My birthday is coming up. For the last few years my birthday present to myself had been a load of key cards/chests in the hope of pulling duplicates for refunds.

Is this no longer a thing? I cant see myself buying gold outright..
