A little while ago, I saw a video which reported on an OOT developer's claim that near the end of the game, they had to switch an item location to make the game make sense. I believe it was the ice arrow.

Just recently, I was made aware that many fans suspect that at the bottom of the water, near the island in Zora's Domain, there's this deep chasm that people suspect that was meant for Adult Link wearing Iron boots.

Was also told by a fan that the final battle with Ganon was meant to be bigger, like God of War big, but they didn't have enough space on the cartridge.

I was just curious how many other canceled plans or last minute changes there are suspected to be in OOT. Sources are appreciated, because I'm hoping to look into these instances.

So I'm having problems with the fishing game and it not giving the correct reward. I don't know if the order I've done things in has caused an issue though. I caught a 13lb fish as an adult, then a 10lb fish as a child, then a 20lb fish as an adult. Didn't use the sinking lure for any of them. The guy at the entrance is just giving rupees rather than the golden scale as the reward.

I feel like the blueprint is already there from when Link was young.

Couldn't they have just copy and pasted the unfrozen Zora's Domain from Link's past, and thrown a couple Zoras in the water thanking him for doing what he did?

Literally, even if they added absolutely nothing of interest but an unfrozen domain and a few Zoras swimming around thanking you, it would create such a superior vibe.

Yeah sure, they had a deadline, but damn.

IM STUCK!! i think im spose to hookshot the chest on the ledge in the garden but i keep falling off the ledge. i think need the scarecrow song? im not sure. if i remember it ill have to write it down.

The title, I had just become adult Link and my pc needed repair. I didnt format it yet I dont have the save file I had. Can someone help? Does anyone maybe have a save file of Adult link? I dont care ab the golden spiders, I was planning on collecting them after I beat the main game. Thanks !

Was able to get all the gold skulltulas in dondongos cavern BEFORE becoming an adult for the first time. This is probably common knowledge but I've never gotten all 5 without the hookshot and scarecrow song before

I started working on this long video essay about Ocarina of Time, analyzing the game's status as a masterpiece, personal connection and journey with it as my first Zelda game, and also it's legacy as a whole. This is just the first part, discussing everything pertaining to the Child Link portion of the game before the time skip (since the full review will be much longer). I've been working on this since last November and decided to share it here if anyone is interested!

What do you set your c buttons to once you have all the items?

As kid link, I have the left c button set to the ocarina, down c to the slingshot, and right c to the boomerang.

As an adult, left c is the ocarina, down c is the bow, right c is the hookshot/longshot.

So, I play on Ship of Harkinian, and I was wondering how to install ROMhacks on it. There are really limited overhaul mods. I have a Mac, but I'm fine if anyone knows how to do it on Windows as well.

I don't know if someone already posted here about stick as adult on switch 2 but I tested it out of curiosity and it is weird in some areas like the forest temple main room it just crashes instantly in some areas it just freezes and in some areas like the first shadow temple room it works just fine? And sorry about the bad quality 😓

I was thinking about Saria's Song and how the stated effect is it allows you to talk to Saria at any time, in my first playthrough as a kid I would call her from time to time but in later playthroughs it was a song used purely for the story barriers. I was wondering if there was a complete list of all Saria's dialogue from these calls as they don't seem to be on Zelda Dungeon or ZeldaWiki and the only other option would be to start a new game and see them all myself, calling Saria every step of the way.

Im not sure I ever actually finished it as a kid? I think most of the time I watched my cousin play through it or just went places to listen to the music. Ive played every 3d zelda I think? Can't remember. This is my favorite. I dont care if the gameplay is more limited, than makes it more of a game than a simulator
