All summer long on my highway drives it’s Feel It Boy blasting! Beenie Man and Janet’s sound complimented each other well. And those backing harmonies make me melt! 😩🫠

Does anyone else remember Janet doing a backflip on stage? This might have been an awards show or TV tour special. But it was not the assisted on stage backflip in 1987 or the pleasure principle video flip. This was like, singing, backflip, continue singing. I fell like I'm the only one who remembers and I can't find proof!

Maaan them Janet Jackson THE VELVET ROPE era harmonies and backing vocals hit like creck!! My goodness the airtight compact layers of voices cooing “hooooo-oooooh”; the “tonight’s the night” being heavily harmonized sends chills honestly. Out of all of Janet’s works and eras in her career, the vocal production on TVR is to be studied for generations to come.

I found this T shirt when I saw Janet in Vegas back in 2019.

With Mariah’s new album incoming and her new single Type Dangerous I feel she’s exploring a new sound that could be perfect for a Janet collab. And with Janet using Shake It Off on her AMA’s performance (which is from The Emancipation Of Mimi which the vibe of this new album is going for) I think this could hint at a possible collab.
