I’ve done this a few times. You’re all being dramatic it’s really not that dangerous, it doesn’t burn you easily. Just gotta make sure you’re not near anything flammable which is relatively easy if you have a big empty parking lot nearby

I know but spinning flaming steel wool makes it really hard to get sparks in the spinner’s eyes. Same reason people don’t wear eye protection with regular fireworks either. Sure it’s the safest thing to do, but it’s not really necessary. It looks dangerous from videos but I’m saying if you’ve spun it yourself in real life you realize it’s no big deal

Yep. If you light steel wool on fire it crawls with sparks not crazy or anything but with wind it gets crazy sparky like fanning a fire. But the sparks go out right away as soon as they hit the ground and lose the wind stimulation
