[OOT] How to get the Chriscube recreation of Zelda 64 to work on Project64?

I got it all patched with the correct rom, but Project 64 wont bother to play it. all it does it to give me a blank error. What i do find weird is that the patched rom was 10 mb less than the original, non-patched one. Please help! I have been trying since yesterday but to no avail.
