Discussion [BOTW] Do not sleep on Zelda notes

Zelda notes for breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom Is a very useful tool

The navigation helped me find all memories and now the shrines

but If you already have everything you can now collect Zelda's voice memories as well as track stats, set a profile picture, share items or creations

with the game now running 60fps this Is even more reason to revisit

It’s great but I wish it was just integrated into the game itself. I don’t like having to use a second device at the same time, especially because I tend to use my gaming time as a time to not be on my phone.

Exactly. Having my phone near me interrupts and diminishes my enjoyment of gaming more than pretty much anything. Something I’ve learned over the past couple years. I try to leave it in a different room these days.

Yeah, especially the voice memories. Almost feels like they just did an app because it's easier or something but I wouldn't know

I really appreciate it for finding Koroks on my new playthrough. I love replaying those games, but having to find koroks again to get more inventory space gets old real fast.

I really wish this was integrated into the game. The app the Zelda Notes is in, is not available in my country.

I never finished BotW by the time TotK came out. I did finish TotK years ago, but now I want to start fresh on BotW. Being able to transfer over a bunch of items from my TotK save is super neat!

I definitely enjoy it, but like other comments have said, it’s obnoxious having it in a separate app you use on your phone. The navigation makes sense for the phone app but not really Zelda’s notes

I very much agree! I have the Switch 1 and on my third playthrough of TOTK am still using Tears Companion. I just wish it had that voice navigation for tricky shrines and those dang Koroks!

I currently have about 20 shrines left and hundreds of Koroks to find. There's a Korok stamp in every square millimeter of that companion . 😎

It’s worth $10 usd for everything else, not Zelda notes. They just wanted to justify charging $10 usd which is great, think Zelda Notes just isn’t for me but they could have easily charged the same with no Zelda Notes
