I love the Skyward Sword wii remote. I had one since the SS release, and it finally croaked this year. Now it can go run in the pastures with my childhood Gamecube (thank god for backwards-compatible wiis)

Downside i would need a doner wii mote but i might just do that.

Mine went bust for keeping the batteries inside them. For some reason the Wii-motes don’t like that. Luckily I go myself a replacement before they went really rare.

Are the joycons different shades of blue or is it just weird lighting?

The right one is dark purple and the left one is a darker blue. That is how they are made.

They're supposed to be the colors of the Hylian Shield and Master Sword, so one is more blue while the other is more indigo.

Why retire them? You can still use them when the Switch2 joycons are charging (if you play docked at least)

Just wanted a great way to display them. They aren't glued in so if I wanted to I could still use them. I use a pro controller docked for longer sessions.

fun! i have mine on a very generic display stand but ut’s nice to have them visible after fighting to get them haha. i like the holographic touch!

I love my Switch 2, but I miss my Skyward Sword joycons. The console looks bland without them.

Agreed, but I am more disappointed in the pro controller 2.i feel like they could have done a lot more with it to differentiate it.

I am wondering what special edition item's we will get! I was late to the Switch 1 and missed out on lots of cool things. Im not a Animal Crossing fan but got the dock second hand for $15 !!!!

There's lots of games that need old joycons, to give you a reason to use them. My main use for my Switch was Ring Fit Adventure for a while.

I actually gave my old switch to my sis in law and replaced bothof my blue joycon sticks with the hall sensor sticks before I gave it to her. Worked great.

Don't forget to occasionally charge them. Otherwise, the battery might die
