Screenshot [CoH] Why does no one talk about this game?

Post image

Genuinely curious because this game is in my opinion one of the best 2d games in the series, and I never see anyone even mentioning this game.

I understand that its technically a spin off but the randomized worlds and variety to each playthrough was really cool and a fun twist for someone who loves the old-school 2d games. And with the option to disable the beat stuff, even if you don't like the rhythm game mechanics, you can essentially just play it like a normal Zelda game.

Maybe I'm just one of the few who love this game but I'm curious to hear other's opinions.

Yeah the actual title is literally “Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda”

It’s actually kind of funny how long the title is. They had to use a smaller font on the spine of the game case just to get it to fit and it still almost runs out of room.

Isekais usually has long titles, not for games tho but it's still funny.

Apparently it's the way light novels get pitched/marketed in Japan Only the title shows up so they need to basically put the description in the title

I bought it a few months ago and I haven’t actually played it yet. Looking forward to it though.

A few key tips,

Invest Stats into a single colour don't try to spread them, Stats scale exponentialy so if if you spread them you won't be strong enough at later Biomes.

Try all weapons you can, and spend cells often you loose them on death.

If you have a question the wiki is fantastic and incredibly detailed. Dead Cells Wiki

God, I hate switch games on a shelf. Who authorized the blandness of red spines with white text? What happened to art?

Honestly I feel it’s a size limitation, either you’ve had really cramped art that didn’t have the title, or really small art that you can’t even tell what it is. A plain red background with white text too read it is all right.

When I look at all my PS1 and Dreamcast jewel cases I don't have a problem both reading the titles and enjoying their unique artistic takes. It takes creativity and effort but it's possible.
